Kokanee Sams is a group of  local R.V.ers that were chartered on July 20, 1987 as an official Chapter of the International Good Sam Recreational Vehicle Club.  We currently have  45 members from the West Kootenays in beautiful British Columbia, Canada.

Kokanee Sams ,as a Chapter of the B.C. Good Sams, participate in the Provincial Meetings and Samborees.  We also have members attending Samborees held in other western Provinces and States.

Kokanee Sams was formed to promote fun, fellowship, travel and principles of good camping and ecological awareness.  We have fun and good times during the summer months, enjoying campouts together.  We travel to various parks located within a days drive from Kootenay Lake.
